Built in the early 18th Century using shells brought back from the Caribbean, the Grotto is a unique twist on our country house wedding venue. Choose the Grotto for a truly intimate setting that invokes pleasing vibes and fond memories of romantic strolls along the beach.
Naturally, our list of locations would not be complete without mentioning the Church – specifically, the hauntingly beautiful St Giles Church. Restored by renowned gothic revival architect Sir Ninian Comper, the Church provides a setting that is both spiritual and traditional. The Church can hold up to 120 guests and truly sets us apart from other private house wedding venues.
After the ceremony, you have the choice of dining in the House or in our beautiful candlelit marquee. Our exceptionally talented team of chefs will prepare a feast for you and your guests that is exactly as you envisioned. Of course, this can all be washed down with our wide selection of drinks served by our friendly and attentive waiting staff.
The House has a maximum capacity of 120 guests, and there is no limit to the number of guests our grounds can accommodate.
